Founded by Marnix Perez in August 2019, Margin Consulting was created to make the business connections between Brand Owners and Importers/Distributors including marketing, regulatory, and trade related intelligence.    Margin Consulting’s primary market is Belize, Central America.  We seek to provide new and innovative products for the Belizean market as well as identify local products on the cusp of exploring opportunities in the export market.

More that 25 years experience in the Food & Beverage Industry.  Focus on the last 10 years on business development and marketing:

  • Conducted Market Research for Belize and Central America for various sales channels;
  • Experience in costing analysis and pricing for retail trade including trade promotions and volume discounts;
  • Developed growth strategies through developing and launching new business opportunities via new products, new strategic partner acquisitions, and any new business opportunities ;
  • Experience in developing launch and medium term marketing plans for new products;
  • Experience in market surveys, price audit analysis, and general market intelligence to establish opportunities for company owned brands;
  • Track trends and product innovations in formulation, packaging and delivery in order to be ahead of the curve;
  • Excellent relationships with regulatory agencies as well as trade facilitation agencies such as trade attaches at Consulates, Chamber of Commerce, Department of Commerce or Trade Commissions;
  • Always abreast of  new and current requirements of  regulatory bodies such as customs, departments of Agriculture, Food and Drug Agency, Bureau of Standards.
